If you are familiar with Honda Spirior’s development history, you should know the Honda Inspire. The second Honda Spirior was only sold in China mainland from 2015, and in 2018, the sixth generation Honda Inspire which is a sedan designed exclusively for the Chinese market was made by Dongfeng Honda to replace the Spirior.
Let’s introduce Honda Inspire simply. It is a mid-size sedan introduced by Honda in 1990 derived from Honda Accord chassis. The first Inspire debuted in 1990 as the Accord Inspire
First generation series CB5, CC2 & CC3 (1989–1995), also called Honda Vigor or Acura Vigor.
Second generation series UA1 through UA3 (1995–1998), also called Honda Saber or Acura 2.5 TL.
Third generation series UA4 and UA5 (1998–2003), also called Acura TL or Honda Saber.
Fourth generation series UC1 (2003–2007), also called Honda Accord (US-spec)
Fifth generation series CP3 (2007–2012), also called Honda Accord (US-spec) or Proton Perdana
Sixth generation series (2018–present), also called Honda Accord (tenth generation) in China market.
Next, we will introduce sixth generation Honda Inspire diecast models including both 1/18 and 1/43 scale works. As for 1/18 scale works, there are two different editions including Sport Hybrid and Sport Turbo in different colors.
In the diecast models market, it is easy to get the Sport Turbo edition model but the number of Sport Hybrid edition is limited.
As for 1/43 scale sixth generation Honda Inspire model, there is only Sport Turbo edition also in champagne.
